Upon check-in we were a little put off by the distance to the beach/town and the receptionist seemingly uninterested attidude. Once in our room we discovered that 2 of the lights didn t work. We were hoping for a room swap however they did fix the problem within the hour. Rooms could have been slightly cleaner (floor) but really not a concern, and were cleaner the second day. By the end of the first day we were much more satisfied. The lady at check-in runs the place with whom I believe is her father. Any seeming uninterest from them was more just a language barrier as they speak enough, but limitied english. They offer a free lift into town (tuk tuk home takes about 5mins and costs 20baht p/p), happily take you into town whenever. More of a family atmosphere but quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was included (we wern t expecting it) and was very extensive for such a small operation. Pool is small but nice and clean. Free internet access. Motorbikes for hire from reception.
